The Division of Economics is one of five Divisions within the Nottingham Business School (NBS). Currently it provides:
- undergraduate degree programmes in Economics/Business Economics/Economics, Finance and Banking;
- taught MSc programmes in Economics and Finance/International Finance;
- postgraduate supervision leading towards MPhil and PhD awards;
- an input into non-specialist programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across the NBS.
We are looking to recruit a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer who can not only teach Economics effectively at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels but also contribute proactively to the Division’s research profile. Applications from candidates with an interest in contributing to the Division’s macroeconomics teaching and research profile is essential with an interest in teaching heterodox economics particularly welcome.
You should have a PhD (or be near completion), experience of teaching economics and a demonstrable engagement in academic research, preferably with peer reviewed journal outputs.
